Director General of Legal Administrative Affairs
Widodo holds a Doctorate in Law from Universitas Padjajaran, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Law from Universitas Tarumanagara. Widodo remains an active member of several professional and academic organizations, including the Ikatan Alumni Lemhannas RI and the Perhimpunan Alumni Doktor Ilmu Hukum Universitas Padjajaran, reflecting his commitment to continuous professional development and contributions to Indonesia's legal landscape.
Since 2004, he has been a vital legislative expert at the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), contributing to numerous national legal and regulatory frameworks. Currently, he serves as Director General of Legal Administrative Affairs since his anointment in November 2024.
Widodo has an extensive background in public service and legal expertise, having served as a legal advisor for the MPR RI, DPD RI, various government agencies, and international bodies including USAID and WFD. His early career includes roles as notary staff for prominent legal figures, solidifying his comprehensive legal knowledge. To add, Widodo has played a significant role in drafting and discussing critical legislative bills, covering a range of topics from constitutional amendments and anti-corruption measures to environmental policies and economic regulations. His legislative efforts include work on the amendments to laws pertaining to climate change, regional governance, and the judicial system.
He has represented Indonesia in international constitutional and legislative study missions across countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Japan, further enhancing his comparative legal expertise.
Agvirta Armilia Sativa
Director of Central Authority and International Law
Agvirta Armilia Sativa serves as Director of Central Authority and International Law since 2024.
Agvirta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from University of Padjajaran in 2005, and a Master’s in Law from University of Indonesia in 2010. Before serving as Director of CA and International Law, Agvirta served as the Head of Legal and Human Rights Services Division at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights’ Regional Office in Lampung since October 2023. Agvirta’s professional journey includes extensive experience in legal and organizational leadership roles, wherein prior to her current and previous position, she has also served as Head of the International Law Subdirectorate under the Directorate of CA and International Law in 2020, and Head of Civil and International Law Section in 2017.
Her expertise in international law and legal administration has been reinforced by her involvement in various assignments both in treaty negotiation and MLA cases, such as during the Treaty negotiation between Indonesia and Swiss, along with handling cases related to the Churchill Mining and Planet Mining Arbitration Claim, and the Continuation of PT Freeport Indonesia operation.
Through her commitment and excellence during her service, Agvirta has earned her recognition through the Satyalancana Karya Satya award for ten years of dedicated service in 2019.
